5   Easter Lunch

We had a lovely family lunch on Easter Sunday . We really enjoyed the special atmosphere created by the jazz singer and the excellent food and service . I will definitely return soon .

1   Beware! Frosty service for parents with small children

I agree entirely with Matthew Fox (10th December 2011). I have visited this coffee house twice within the last week, and although the food was very nice the attitude of the staff was distinctly frosty. I got the impression this had something to do with the fact that I had my one-year-old son with me (who was as good as gold and left no mess whatsoever). I won't be returning: there are far friendlier places in Knutsford in which to spend my money!!

1   Poor Customer Service towards parents

As a new coffee shop in Knutsford you may have thought that they would be welcoming everyone with open arms wanting to set a good example and expand their customer base as far as possible. However, this simple business plan is not evident at the Orange Tree Coffee Shop. Initially, parents were welcome, but times change and now they treat parents with prams as the scourge of all evil. Within our friendship group three parents have been asked to impolitely leave their prams outside in the rain due to Health and Safety, every other coffee shop, restaurant or shop in Knutsford have no such policy. If this is not bad enough, shouting across a room at your customers in front of other clients may well seal the fate on this business, any coffee shop not only willing to allow parents into their premises with prams but to treat them with such hostility is a foolish idea, perhaps a poster on the front door stating no parents with prams welcome here would save all the aggro!
