Lions Variety Show Chcago cast

Knutsford and District Lions Club are preparing to staging their annual Senior Citizen's Variety Show.

This free show for senior citizens, which has been held for more than twenty five years, will take place on Sunday 5th February.

Knutsford's Town Mayor Cllr Stewart Gardiner and his consort will be joining around two hundred guests at the Civic Centre for the 2pm start.

Entertainment will be provided by The Star Choir, a group of female singers from Knutsford offering a range of harmonious music, and Celtic Toes, a local dance group of boys and girls from age five upwards, who have kindly offered to donate their performance fee to a local charity.

They will be joined on stage by Wilmslow based musicians the Fish Lip Soup Big Band and The Lions' Comedy Sketch, which is always a mystery - even for those performing.

Refreshments will be served at the interval and there will also be a free raffle.

Tickets are free and can be obtained from Mr Simms Olde Sweet Shoppe on King Street, Easy Fish in Canute Square or any Lion member.

For further information, or if you are interested in becoming a Lion member or an occasional helper, please telephone 01565 631255.
