Farmers from the Knutsford area had their annual meeting with MP George Osborne recently where they discussed their views and raised concerns about Government policy.

Organised by the local branch of the National Farmers Union, the Tatton MP met with local farmers at the Whipping Stocks pub in Over Peover on Friday 11th February.

George Osborne said "I find it very useful to have an annual catch up with the NFU and local farmers so that they can discuss their concerns with me. The meeting was well attended on Friday and several different aspects of farming locally were discussed, such as arable, dairy, eggs and poultry and veterinary services."
